Connect GitHub

You'll need

• Admin rights on the target organisation or repository
• A codingassist.bot tenant
• ~3 minutes

Steps

1. Open the install flow

   From the dashboard click Connect Git → GitHub. You'll land on github.com/apps/codingassist.

2. Choose scopes

   Pick All repositories for org-wide install or Only select repositories for a controlled rollout. codingassist.bot only requests the scopes it needs (read PR diffs, post review comments).

3. Confirm in codingassist.bot

   GitHub redirects you back to the codingassist.bot dashboard. You should see the connected installation listed under Settings → Integrations.

4. Open a PR

   The next pull request opened in any connected repo will get a codingassist.bot verdict comment within seconds.

Troubleshooting

If no comment appears on the next PR, check Settings → Integrations → Logs — every webhook delivery is logged with its outcome.
